
A Non-Immigrant B visa allows you enter Thailand before you obtain a work permit and a 1 year business visa. There are different things to consider regarding entering a single or multiple times.
Types
- Single entry Non-Immigrant B which is valid for 90 days for entering Thailand before obtaining work permit and 1 year business visa.
- Multiple entry Non-Immigrant B which is valid for 90 days for entering Thailand and you must leave Thailand every 90 days by airplane or land border (visa run)
How to apply for non-immigrant B visa before entering Thailand?
- The company must apply for Work Permit at the Labour Department to get the approval letter first
- Then, the company must send the approval letter with the company’s documents to expat in overseas
- The expat applies for the non-Immigrant B visa from the Royal Thai Embassy abroad
- After processing, the expat obtains the 90 days non-Immigrant B visa for entering Thailand

Requirements for Single Entry
- Passport (valid no less than 6 months)
- Photographs
- Business documents
- In case of employment in Thailand
- Invitation letter from the employer in Thailand
- Approval Letter from Ministry of Labour (WP3)
- Education certificate and previous employment certificate
- Additional requirements for special professions (if any) such as teaching license, Proof of no criminal/drug offence record etc.
- In case of short-term business meetings
- Invitation letter from company or organization in Thailand
- Company or organization registration in Thailand
- Official note from the applicant’s company
- Hotel reservation
- 14 days of stay
- In case the applicant is self-employed, or wishes to establish a business in Thailand,
- Bank statement of the last 6 months
- Documents concerning the applicant’s existing business
- Documents concerning the business to be established in Thailand

Requirements for Multiple Entry
- Passport (valid no less than 6 months)
- Photographs
- Hotel reservation
- Copy of work contract and salary receipt of the past 3 months
- Copy of applicant’s bank statement of the past 3 months
- Copy of applicant’s previous business visas for Thailand
- Business related documents from company in Thailand
- Invitation letter stating applicant’s name, objective of the visit, and period of stay
- Copy of business registration or Thai Business License, issued by the Department of Commercial Registration
- Copy of company profile
- Copy of list of shareholders of the company
- Copy of balance sheet over the last 1 year
- Copy of Statement of Income Tax (PND.50/51)
- Copy of Value Added Tax (PP. 30)
- Copy of Value Added Tax Registration (PP. 20)
