
The Non-Immigrant (IM) Visa (investment visa) can be applied by foreigners who have invested an amount of at least 10 million baht in Thailand.

Required Investment of 10 MB
- Investment by purchasing or renting (a period of not less than 3 years), a unit in a condominium from a relevant government agency, at the purchase or rental price of not less than 10 million baht or
- Investment by depositing with a Thai bank not less than 10 million baht which is registered in Thailand and has more than 50% of Thai shareholders
- Investment by purchase of government or state enterprise bonds not less than 10 million baht or
- The total investment under (1), (2) or (3) is not less than 10 million baht

Required Documents
For the applicant who does not have Non-Immigrant visa before applying for investment visa, the applicant is required to change the visa type by submission of application more than 15 days before visa expiration and the Non-Immigrant visa will be valid for not over 90 days. In case of overstaying in Thailand, application could not be submitted.
- Form TM.86 for the foreigner, who has Tourist and Transit Visa and applies for Visa Status Alteration and applies for non-immigrant visa; or
- Form TM.87 for the foreigner, who enters into Thailand without visa, but is allowed to stay in Thailand with a permit of stay for a period of 15 day, 30 days, 90 days and applies for non-immigrant visa
- A copy of passport pages (for example, personal information page, last entries stamp, visa sticker and extension stamp (if any) and departure card (Form TM.6))
- Either one 4×6 cm photograph or one 2 inch size photograph
- Proof of Investments not less than 10 million baht of each investment or all investments in total
In case of investment by depositing with a Thai bank not less than 10 million baht
- Copy of evidence of foreign currency transfers into Thailand
- Certificate of having deposit from a bank registered in Thailand
- Copy of proof of deposit
- Copy of fixed passbook The sole name of the applicant is specified
In case of investment by purchasing or renting (a period of not less than 3 years), a unit in a condominium from a relevant government agency or government agency, at the purchase or rental price of not less than 10 million baht, showing
- First-hand title deed and must be the sole name of the applicant.
- A copy of the condominium purchase agreement between the applicant and the company or project and a copy of the ownership registration of the condominium units from government agencies or related agencies.
- Receipt of fee payment from the local land office
- Certificate of deposit balance from a bank in Thailand
- Copy of a fixed deposit or savings account book in the name of the applicant solely
- Proof of transfer of foreign currency into Thailand
- Copy of house registration
- Appraisal form from the Land Office
In case of investment by purchasing government or state enterprise bonds of not less than 10 million baht by showing evidence of a copy of government or state enterprise bond

How many times can I departure and re-entry Thailand?
The departure and re-entry permit shall be valid for one year from the
date the competent official has made the same and during that one year period the holder of the visa can make as many departures and re-entries as desirable.
